My nerve racking experience

" I can't believe it " I said to myself. My heart was pumping frantically. I was waiting outside the Tusitala with all of the presenters. We all crept in like little mice. I took one look at the visitors and in my mind I was thinking about how I could speak clearly and how I could represent Pt England.

When Angela was doing her mihi I was smiling on the outside , but inside I felt faint. Angela had finished her presentation and everyone was clapping. I heard the music play and I knew that was my queue to go up and speak ...

Sorry I hope I could tell you more but I have to go now. I will tell you the rest of my nerve racking experience in part 2.

The End.

  1. Wow Selena. Thank you for sharing your story yesterday. I was most impressed with your ability to articulate clearly the learning that happens for you at Pt. England School. You certainly did your school and your family proud. You couldn't tell that you were nervous. In fact, you looked like you have been presenting for years. Thank so much again.

  2. Hi Selena,
I can understand how nerve racking this must have been. I still get nervous when I have to speak to a group of people and certainly could never have done that when I was your age! Well done - I hear that you all represented PES exceptionally well.

  3. Hi Selena
It is me Angela. I want to say that I felt the same as you but as I got used to it I felt like it is way better if you speak in front of strangers than people you know. I hope you learn it off by heart as well.

    Angela
